In 2020 I want to improve quality of my mobile videos – not only stabilization and new moves but also sound / microphone quality. So it was a no brainer for me to combine my DJI Osmo Mobile 3 Gimbal with RØDE VideoMic. Let me share with you how to integrate both device:
- 1/4 “to 3/8” screw threads for conversion
- RØDE Cable (40 cm length, 3,5mm jack, red/grey) to make it usable for Android Phones. Default cable (red only) only works for my DigiCam
- USB-C to 3,5mm Converter male to female (was part of my SmartPhone package, link to Amazon)
- SMALLRIG Magic Arm 5″
Do you by any chance have more pictures on how the part between the microphone and the smallrig is setup?
I bought the same setup and need to make it like this since the microphone won’t fit directly on the phone.
Bought the same parts but can’t see on the picture how you connected the microphone.
