2 days ago my new GoPro Hero9 Black has arrived and immediately I have evaluated how well it works as a Webcam, please check my Blogpost here which covers installation and configuration of additonal utility
I was very surprised to find out that internal microphone of GoPro9 can’t be used in webcam mode and external microphones like Rode VideoMicro or WirelessGo are not detected. Would be possible if I could purchase a GoPro Media Mode Case but this is out of stock. So what can I do to have a good meeting and video conferencing experience with my new GoPro?
Tonor TC-777 USB microphone is available for a budget price of 28-35 USD or EUR, can be used with Windows, Mac and Linux and supports your GoPro experiences in Meetings, Gaming, Live Streaming, Voice Overs, Podcasts and much more.

Hi Ragnar! I thought the TONOR sounded okay during your review. Well done! Like you say: Probably hard to find a match for the quality at least at that price. We’ve been using the TONOR for our video podcast „Coronaschule“, and we’re happy! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBvyM_kcS4IbHW_RlMkOPhg
